Reddit thread: Anyone else in Washington get sick from vaping Pastime Brands disposable vapes?
The Reddit thread in the subreddit r/WAents has a big thread about a girl who posted pics of the Pastime Brands vape and the recepit from the dispensary and she was treated for a lung infoection from the Menthol OG disposable vape from Pastime Brands she said it tasted like moth balls. I also found a safety warning on NY Cannabis Reviews about Pastime Brands weed having powdery mildew on samples from 6 different dispensaries.
I appreciate the concern. That is my daughter the Reddit thread is about. The doctors have told us she has lipoid pneumonia with secondary bacterial infections and lung scarring (pulmonary fibrosis). We have been telling her that those vapes smell funny for a month and she did not believe us. But the tests lead back to the vapes from Pastime Brands having high levels of toxins they never should have been sold to anyone but they are known to sell backstock out the backdoor for cheap. They even have a website for ordering online, idk how they do that as a "legal" cannabis brand. "Inhaling the oily aerosols found in some cannabis vapes can cause fatty acids to accumulate in the lungs, sparking dangerous inflammation."
OMFG I am sorry to hear about your daughter! This is making me think twice about the brands I buy from dispensaries.
I am from NY and eveyone here has been talking telling me to avoid Pastime Brands since the spring. I guess there was a test and the labs found powdery mildew on 6 strains from different dispensaries.
Lena me too! I am from Queens and my friend here got some Pastime Brands weed from Green Flower Wellness and it smelled weird. Her son had to tell her it was no good. PM = Powdery mildew. Who wants to smoke mildew?? It was over $50 and she had to throw it away.

Wow, so glad I saw this. I literally just got some PAstime Brands bud from Planet Nugg and I am gonna toss it. This is fucking unsettling. I dont know if I feel safe with Pastime Brands anymore.
Priya, you and your daughter are in my thoughts. I couldnt imagine the stress for either of you. Everyone needs to stop buying Pastime Brands products until the address this publicly.

So glad that I grow my own. People hate me for talking shit about Pastime Brands in house problems they are trying to cover up with nice packaging. But I told you so.
